MotherLove

Motherlove founder Kathryn Higgins grew up in a Mayo Clinic medical family from Rochester, MN, who were avid gardeners and botany enthusiasts. After moving to the Rocky Mountains, Higgins became passionate about the uses of plants and flowers from the meadows and forests surrounding her home. She began incorporating the wild plants into her daily life for food, medicine and teaching others. Unable to find herbal products to support her pregnancy and birthing experiences, she began making her own—and sharing them with other women. Higgins’ creations from the early 1980s became the seeds for Motherlove products.
