the giggle criteria: We've narrowed down the choices by picking only the best products out there. In other words: if we sell it, we love it, and we think you will, too! Each year, we talk to tons of parents to find out what's most important to them when it comes to baby and kids products. The result? Every product we offer goes through a rigorous selection process and must meet at least three of the following criteria to be included in our assortment:

Rated 5 out of 5 by krgreen Cool looking at my daughter loves! I bought this for my 6 month old daughter and she absolutely loves it! She loves playing with all the buttons (especially the little gear shifter) and thinks it's hilarious to "walk" while she's in it. It's also cooler looking than most of the toys out there so isn't a total eye sore when in the living room or common area. And it breaks down and can easily fit under a bed or in a closet. Rated 4 out of 5 5 month old loves! My daughter received this walker at 4 months and, though she's still a bit small, absolutely loves it. I just roll up an Aiden and Anais swaddle blanket, wrap it around her waist, and she fits perfectly. I love that there are three settings so we can mix up the noises each button makes. I don't think the mp3 hookup is necessary because then the buttons (her main activity source) are pointless. This item is great if you have floor space, but as a former NYC resident, I wouldn't recommend it for a tiny apartment. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Smallest and best looking baby walker! When our active baby boy turned 6 months, we decided to graduate from a bouncer chair (see my comments on the Mamaroo Bouncer) to a walker. Having looked in several places, I was dismayed at how big and ugly most walkers were. I wanted something relatively small (we live in a NYC apartment) and visually inoffensive. This happens to be the only walker Giggle sells and it is a winner. Not only does my baby boy love it, but we love it too (for aesthetic reasons). While it does have buttons that light up, with music and even a fake cellphone and accelerator on the dashboard, the walker is fairly basic - it does not have a zillion add-ons and buttons. It almost looks like an old fashioned vintage version of the modern-day mega walker (which we loathe!!). Our son quickly learned to zoom around in it and while we don't leave him there for too long, he gets just enough to thoroughly entertain himself and give us small breaks! We jokingly call the walker his Ferrari! I recommend it especially if you are looking for something relatively compact and are sensitive to aesthetics. December 11, 2012

Q:We are trying to find a walker made with rubber wheels for our 6 month old. We have new wood floors and plastic wheels would leave marks. Does this have plastic or rubber wheels?? If it does not have rubber wheels, would you start carrying one that does?? Thank you!!
A:giggle's "pick" for a mobile activity center is Chicco's Dance Baby Walker. It has a lot of features that make it super-functional (vs. other activity centers) which is what caught our eye!
It's equipped with plastic wheels in the front and rubberized wheels in the back, but it also easily converts from a walker to a stationary activity center. Plus, it folds flat for easy storage, and features brake pads to stop the walker in its tracks if it goes over a step, which is a safety feature you can't beat!
