We have yet to put our daughter into her crib - too tiny still, but this mobile is great. It is constantly in motion and contrasts nicely against the yellow walls. Very lightweight - like a mylar-type material - we have it tacked to our plaster ceilings with a clear push pin. Works so well with our modern nursery - it is art after all.

It is difficult for the baby to see, because of the thin material, but it looks fabulous in the nursery. We put it over the changing table, and actually our son likes to watch it sometimes when we are cuddling in the chair across the room.

My family love simple & modern! My daughter was not a mobile lover but she really enjoyed sheep mobile. It's very light so if it happens to fall off, it's safe. Recommended for modern parents.

I just love this mobile-it's not too cutsey but just enough for our modern nursery!

Obviously, it's very neutral in design - which we needed. It's smartly made of paper, which allows for a lot of movement in the piece. It's on a thin thread [safer than monofilament - yet not distracting.] We have high ceilings, so it was easy to splice and add a little white thread. Placement is, of course, important. With mobiles, my advice is to hang the mobile slightly to the side of where the child might be reclining. I've tested several by standing right underneath them and looking up, and even mobiles with a lot of dimension lose some of their impact from this angle. We have a couple of mobiles in the room, and now that my daughter is older, she appreciates them in a different way. Even the white shapes against white walls will cast lovely shadows depending on your lighting, placement and time of day.

i've had this mobile since before i became a parent, and i've always enjoyed how understated it is. however, the white sheep are not very easy to see, especially if your walls are white.

How many babies in the world can say they have NY Museum of Modern Art mobiles in their rooms? This lightweight mobile moves constantly, is simple to install (b/c it's soo lightweight), and looks so chic in my modern nursery. Plus it's a clever play on counting sheep.

I love how this looks. It is not perfect though because ou cant see it that well if you are lying below it like my baby. She does really like it when she sees it though. Great graphic shapes and cool design.
