My daughter Zoe has neonatal lupus, so we use 100% organic cotton and bamboo everything (including diapers!) So it's very important that what she put's in her mouth is as natural as we can possibly find. Sophie is more than we could have ever hoped for. Made from 100% natural rubber, containing only vegetable based dyes, this lightweight squeeky teething toy can be flung around by our 3 month old infant with ease and as she begins to chew on her ears now, she can progressively move to the hooves and other areas when her teething pain becomes more intense. We have two sophies, one for the diaper bag and one at home. . . . we probably should get a third!! THis is an awesome shower gift!!!

Sophie is always part of my shower gift to expectant moms. I always hear, months and months later, how much their babies love gnawing on Sophie while teething!

My son loved this giraffe starting at only a few months and still going strong. It's made out of a nice rubber and squeaks sweetly. My dog is patiently waiting for me to get him one too.

Sophie the Giraffe is a MUST HAVE for every mom-to-be. It is perfect for teething - soft and chewable for baby, and perfect for entertaining - the squeek never fails to provoke a delightful giggle from my son. This toy has grown with my son from newborn to todder!

I know, everyone has one of these. Seriously, it isn't just a fad. Sophie is the best little teether around. Light enough to pick up, soft enough for when they can't quite figure out how to stop from bonking their heads, washes nicely, and has the perfect shape for munching on. The little nubby giraffe horns are great for gums working on their first teeth and the legs are great handles. Great shower gift and you really do need more than one, babies get very attached to their Sophies.

My 5 month old loves this toy. (As do I and his dad) It is cute, eco friendly, safe and not annoying. He love to hold it and chew on it. A great first teether!

Every baby I know is obsessed w/ Sophie and takes it everywhere and doesn't want to share. My son had little interest in her but would hold her if she was the only toy around. I love the look of her aesthetics she has such a cute design w/o being over designed.
