My daughter Zoe has neonatal lupus, so we use 100% organic cotton and bamboo everything (including diapers!) So it's very important that what she put's in her mouth is as natural as we can possibly find. Sophie is more than we could have ever hoped for. Made from 100% natural rubber, containing only vegetable based dyes, this lightweight squeeky teething toy can be flung around by our 3 month old infant with ease and as she begins to chew on her ears now, she can progressively move to the hooves and other areas when her teething pain becomes more intense. We have two sophies, one for the diaper bag and one at home. . . . we probably should get a third!! THis is an awesome shower gift!!!

Sophie is SUCH a simple toy, and yet it is one of my son's favorites. While I'll admit I'M not a huge fan of the squeak, HE is, and that's what's important. He can gnaw at Sophie contentedly for quite some time, grasps her easily (was one of his very first grasping toys), and loves her sound and texture. EXCELLENT product, and a great go-to for baby shower gifts.

I am a dentist and my baby just loves this as a tether. I am happy about the natural rubber too. It's a must have and it serves as a toy too. Can't leave home without it!

You can throw a rock in my neighborhood and hit one of these teethers and it's because they really are great! The squeak still makes my sons crack up (they are 28 months). When they were small and teething, having a flexible, fun, soft friend to chew on helped a lot. I think we went through 4 of these :)

I bought this when my son was only 2 months old as he started to show signs of teething. Unfortunately, he was too young but at the 5-6 month mark he could easily grab Sophie and put her in his mouth. It was perfect for learning hand/eye coordination as well as teething. I'll find him gnawing on her little horns, nose, or feet. The squeaker inside is also fantastic to get his attention so he'll hear the sound and grab for the toy. I love this plus it's super cute!

Sophie is always part of my shower gift to expectant moms. I always hear, months and months later, how much their babies love gnawing on Sophie while teething!

My son loved this giraffe starting at only a few months and still going strong. It's made out of a nice rubber and squeaks sweetly. My dog is patiently waiting for me to get him one too.
