Rated 5 out of 5 by weev Wonderful for growing babies My daughter has loved this toy since she was about 3 months old. It was easy for her to reach for and then express interest in due to the noise and colors. Now, as a 1 year old, she loves to use it as an instrument! Great growing toy. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by jaja Interactive and fun infant toy! The skwish is such a colorful and interactive infant toy...baby can grasp hold of it from any angle, and the rods and beads make a rattling noise that keep baby's attention. a great visual and innovative toy any baby would enjoy! also, made of a ton toxic hardwood and eco friendly:) July 12, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by GiggleMomCA Great for teething... short lived This kept our little one quite busy in his carseat during long drives. It was great for gnawing on and practicing his dexterity. But it was also short lived. He easily bored of it over time. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by KMiller My son loves this toy! This toy is great. No bells and whistles, just simple but my son loves it. No sharp ends to hurt him or cut him and easy for little hands to pick up. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Our favorite toy My son was attracted to this toy before he could hold onto a rattle or stuffed animal. He would watch as I turned it, and then learned to hold onto the cord, and then to bring the beads to his mouth, and then to move the beads around. It is really well designed for babies, and will continue to interest them as they grow. December 12, 2012

Q:My three month old loves this toy. She enjoys watching the balls move, and her little hands can grab and move it nicely. She also loves to suck on it. My mother, however, was concerned that one of the balls could come off and pose a choke hazard. Has this ever happened? And how does the manufacturer answer questions about choke hazard? Thanks!
A:Manhattan Toy meets many safety standards and requirements of the CPSIA and ASTM (United States), and the EN71 (Europe). They thoroughly test the end beads on each Skwish to ensure that each piece is safely secured and will not pose a choking hazard. In 10 years of manufacturing this product, they’ve never had a report of the beads coming off.
I hope this gives you and your mother more peace of mind when letting baby go to town on her fabulous Skwish!
Q:My baby is 3 months old. Is it safe for him to put this in his mouth?
