Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bostonmom Great basics cookbook for new babyfood chefs
I am a decent cook, but was a little nervous about preparing my own babyfood after the birth of my first child -- what ingredients are appropriate at what age? what is the best preparation method? what seasoning should I add to maximize flavor for my little one? I found this a very useful starter cookbook, from a reputable cookbook author. It gives you the basics, and makes great age-appropriate suggestions for combinations of food I wouldn't necessarily have thought of on my own.

This book is great. Every recipie I have tried has been a huge success. Simple. Delicious. I make extra for me and my husband! There is also a lot of helpful advice on what freezes well, what doesn't. You wont be disappointed.

This book had many great recipes but I think the downfall was that we bought this book along with "Starting Solids". You really only need one or the other.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by AussieBree Great guide for a new mom
Being new to motherhood became more overwhelming when it came to introducing solids. Karmel has simple easy to follow recipes, great explanations and advice and made me feel more relaxed about making my own baby food. My son eats only food I have made for him.
