This book is my "go to" baby gift for expecting moms. The whole family (mom, dad, brothers and sisters) can get involved with the storytelling. My only frustration is that my local Giggle store cannot keep them in stock - they fly off the shelf!

I absolutely love this book!!! It's so cute! My daughter loves when I read this to her before bed and loves the tickle action! Makes a great gift as it comes in such a nice box!

My son received this beautiful box set as a 1st birthday gift! We love reading this together as a family... Dadda wears the mitts & does the tickling, while Momma reads. Nothing better than lots of giggles from your little one! A great gift!

Tickle Monster is such an adorable book! You may remember actress and now author as well, Josie Bissett, from the popular Tv show Melrose Place. Well, this mother of two is the author of the excellent book the Tickle Monster. I am not usually a big fan of celebrity actors/singers writing childrens books, but Josie’s books are very well written and thought out. Illustrator, Kevan Atteberry, did an amazing job with this book as well. The book cover catches your attention and makes you want to peek inside! The book’s reading level is listed for ages 4-8 years. However, I think this book would be a great baby shower gift. I also love the idea behind this book: There is no better childhood memory than time spent laughing together. I definitely want my son to look back on his childhood and remember laughing a lot.
I bought the Tickle MonsterLaughter Kit for my book loving 18 month old. The story is very cute and flows well. My oldest is now 3 years old and he still adores this book. The mitts bring lots of giggles from my little guy! You don’t need the mitts to enjoy the book, but I think they make for such a fun experience. The mitts are extremely soft. In fact, my son loves to rub them on his face! The book and mitts come in a very nice case. I think this case is so great because I don’t have to search for the mitts every time we want to read the book! I know this book set costs a bit more than the average book, but it is worth every penny! I think this is a must have book for every child's personal library.

This book is adorable and the furry mittens as a prop make this story time our favorite time of the day. This also might have to be my new baby shower gift for friends or for 1st birthdays...it is unique and is sure to make fond memories!

I originally bought this for a gift for an expectant parent. However, after reading and checking it out, I'm going to keep it for kids who come visit me! Imagine how excited they will be when then get to come to my house and play tickle monster! (At least I hope they are as excited as me!)

This is a great book and the addition of the tickle monster gloves really completes it. My 9 month old already loves it. At this point she hardly sits still through a whole story but she loves the tickle gloves.

While the reading level is age graded for 4 years, children from two and up have been loving it at our weekly giggle storytime. Like with most children’s books, this is as much about the adult-child time and how you approach the book. Particularly with the tickle mittens, it’s hard not to love at any age!
