BEST BASICS: These are the tried-and-true necessities that every new parent needs, such as burp cloths and baby bottles, plus some of those things that just make parenting a little simpler. Most of them are considered must-haves, and the rest will make your life so much easier they'll be a no-brainer. In this category, we look for convenience and functionality above all else.BEST BASICS: everyday baby essentials
MULTI-USE: Everyone wants to get the most for their money, but that doesn't always translate to the lowest price. Sometimes it means choosing one great product instead of buying multiple products over time. These products last longer and do more - whether they grow with your baby, live on beyond the baby years, or can be used for more than one purpose - so that you can always feel confident that you made a great investment.MULTI-USE: versatile & long-lasting
HEALTHY: Every parent's number-one goal is a healthy baby, and babies' developing systems are a lot more sensitive than adults. That's why we work hard to find products that won't introduce any more toxins than necessary into your home. Sometimes that means organic products that avoid pesticides and chemicals, but it also includes things like nontoxic cleaning products made from plant-based ingredients, or plastics without toxins likes BPA or phthalates.HEALTHY: made with safe or organic materials
INNOVATIVE: These products are just plain smart, whether it's a new twist on an old product, a smart, modern design, or a fresh idea that's altogether new. We're always on the hunt for the latest innovations in parenting — and that includes cool, new products that adapt the latest in technology to help the newest entrants in the world of parenting.INNOVATIVE: smart products that do more
SPACE-SAVING: Let's face it: Babies take up a lot of room. These space-saving essentials help make sure there's still enough room for everyone after the baby comes. Maybe they have a smaller footprint, or maybe they're easy to put away when you're not using them, but either way they're a whole lot easier than finding a bigger house!SPACE-SAVING: compact & easy to store
RESPONSIBLE: What's good for the world is good for our children. We put a special emphasis on environmentally friendly, "green" products that are made with nontoxic, recycled and sustainable materials. We also love products that help the communities where they're made, or that go the extra mile to support charitable causes. Plus, we love "local"!RESPONSIBLE: eco-friendly or locally produced

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great modern look We love this chair! We registered for this item and it is one of the most-used and favorite gifts. We love the modern design, compact size, and that it will grow with our child. Our son has been using it since he started eating solids; it wipes clean easily with a damp cloth (key!) and we look forward to the day we can convert to a normal chair. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing High Chair We love our Tripp Trapp! It fits nicely with our modern decor and gives our baby a place at the table with us. We love that the ergonomics are correct and she does not slouch in the chair - she sits up nice and tall. We also love that it grows with her - no need to buy boosters to accomodate her growth. An investment but well worth it! The covers are fun too! All different colors and patterns to vary the look. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for including baby in the dinnertime ritual We have to of these chairs and abslutely love them. We bought the first three years ago after several attempts with different highchairs. First we didn't want to use a big, bulky and plastic chair for our baby. So we tried the Trip Trap and love - so much that we now have one for our toddler and another for our now 18 month old. We found that for a baby learning to eat the chair allows them to sit up properly without slipping or hitting their head. We also love the fact that these chairs pull right up to the table so the children are not secluded from dinnertime. They are very adjustable and sturdy and we plan to buy a third in a several months when our newest addition begins to discover solid foods. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Grows with child! Love this chair. I purchased 2 of them for my youngest children. Use it at the dining room table and for homework. Great quality, a very solid chair. And it's easy to keep clean. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for small spaces! We LOVE this high chair for our small apartment...it enables our daughter to sit right at our kitchen table without being separated by a tray. It's great to be able to take the seat cushion off for washing in the machine too. This highchair takes up very little floor space and looks super. Several people who have seen it at our apartment have purchased it for their children! I also like how it adjusts to your child's size as they grow. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Super stylish, plus so nice to pull kiddos right up to the table. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE THIS CHAIR What a great idea! I used to purchase several baby and toddler chairs to keep up with my child's growth spurts but not any more. It also comes in handy to reach different levels of setting and a cool place for my kids to place there toys when not sitting on it. I'm also going Green so it can be useful for many years and save a lot of trees. May 27, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stylish and Great for Small Spaces Because the Tripp Trapp (By Stokke) wooden high chair can be adapted as your child grows and is attractive to look at, we are thrilled with the product. When our daughter was old enough to sit up unassisted, we used the tripp-trapp to secure her in place. The harness works well for this as well. Now that she is two, we have removed the harness, the accessory and kept the padding so that she can get on and off the chair unassisted. With soo much baby gear made of plastic, it is so nice to have a piece of furniture that we can see her using throughout her elementary years. It can transition into her room when she's old enough for her own desk and workspace. May 27, 2009
