Q:
Is there a bassinet stand for this like they have for the Uppababy bassinet? Can this double as a bed-side bassinet?Answers
A:
Bloom's Zen Yoga Newborn Nest's "bassinet stand" is built-into its base so you have a stand wherever you're traveling (it doesn't have an independent bassinet stand accessory like UppaBaby's Vista). This lightweight, 3-in-1 system acts as a baby lounger, travel bed, and parent-facing newborn cradle (when paired with the Zen stroller), making it the complete newborn solution. It boasts two recline positions, a comfy and supportive mattress, and even folds flat to less than 6”, for maximum portability.
Parents can use this as a bed-side bassinet, and should only use Zen on a firm, flat, non-elevated surface.
Q:
Can the nest be used as a bassinet for a newborn, suitable to sleep in (not just nap). Is it JPMA certified? After 6 months, can the nest still be used to carry a sleeping toddler, and if yes, till what age/weight can it used?
Answers
A:
Bloom’s Yoga is a lightweight, 3-in-1 system that acts as a baby lounger, travel bed, and parent-facing newborn cradle (when paired with the Zen stroller), making it the complete newborn solution. Yoga is suitable to use from birth up to 20lbs, and its primary use is for napping on-the-go or around the home, rather than as a long-term sleep-solution.Yoga is not JPMA certified -- JPMA is a subscription or membership-fee-based organization and is not mandatory to sell in the U.S. Bloom manufactures, tests & certifies all bloom products to not only meet but to exceed the far more stringent ASTM standards for the USA as well as EN (European), Australian, Canadian & British standards. Yoga has been tested to meet the following standards:
--USA Standard: ASTM F2194 (cradles)
--European Standards: EN 1888 (stroller standard: zen with yoga), EN 1466 (carry cots), and EN 12790 (reclined cradles)
