the giggle criteria: We've narrowed down the choices by picking only the best products out there. In other words: if we sell it, we love it, and we think you will, too! Each year, we talk to tons of parents to find out what's most important to them when it comes to baby and kids products. The result? Every product we offer goes through a rigorous selection process and must meet at least three of the following criteria to be included in our assortment:

Rated 3 out of 5 by FromTheMommyFlats Requires 2 Parents... I chose Orbit b/c of all the well-rounded product line. Unfortunately, this item is not as easy to use as the video on the orbit baby website shows. Orbit assumes you will bring the cargo pod onboard with you so it doesn't really allow for storage of it in the bag. You have to 'shimmy' the stroller base into the bag - it does not just get placed in easily, which if you're traveling without your spouse (namely the one who caries the heavy stuff) you're going to have to practice at home first! When it is all folded up, it is cumbersome to carry (in addition to the baby, the bag, your purse etc.). Bottom line is that if you plan to travel on a plane and want to bring your orbit stroller to your final destination it is a necessary purchase and it does what you pay for it to do... buy the $180 item to protect the $1200 worth of baby stuff inside. I found the best thing to do is to check it at the counter unless there will be two of you traveling together to the gate. Of course if my little love bug could walk it would be easier to bring it to the gate and break it down then. Comically enough the orbit video does not show the "baby" with its "mother" as she is breaking down the stroller into the travel bag... March 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by mATTbROOKEandZoe Great for parents on the go!! We actually have the new "gate check" model, but they are very similiar and both provide a great way to keep your investment safe. Very easy to use, we love it! Fits the stroller chassis and either the bassinet or the toddler stroller seat. May 27, 2009

Q:We have a sidekick attached to our G2 base - will the travel bag work with the sidekick attached or does that have to be removed before it can be put in the bag?
A:To ensure the best fit in Orbit Baby's Travel Bag, and to protect your investment against being damaged, it is recommended that Orbit Baby's Sidekick Stroller Board be detatched and stored in its own travel bag (included with Sidekick), and safetly nested with the Orbit Baby Stroller in the stroller travel bag.
Q:Does the Travel Bag have enough room for the toddler car seat?
A:No, the Orbit Baby Toddler Car Seat does not fit into the Stroller Travel Bag. The Stroller Travel Bag fits the following combinations and can be easily gate-checked for the parent’s convenience: Stroller Frame G2 + Stroller Seat G2 or Stroller Frame G2 + collapsed Bassinet Cradle G2 or Stroller Frame G2 only. As a note, both the Orbit Infant Car Seat G2 and Toddler Car Seat are approved for in-flight use and can be taken on the plane to be used in the child’s seat.
