Rated 5 out of 5Â by ChicagoBaby Love This Mat!
I adore this portable mat and get asked about it by many parents, teachers and caregivers who have never seen anything like it. I tote my 4 month old daughter everywhere and have us signed up for classes or meet ups with other moms and babies nearly every day of the week. This mat is a godsend. I can stuff it underneath my stroller or swing the shoulder strap of the cover across my chest so that the whole light-weight mat is carried on my back, and away we go! Instead of placing the baby on a blanket on a hard floor during music class, for example, we use this mat - it's very cushy, takes up less space than a big blanket and comes with the toys and pillow to practice extra good tummy time. No, it doesn't replace one of the bigger play gyms out there. We have the bigger type of gym at home (with the hanging overhead toys, etc.). However, there's nothing like this for taking around to other people's homes, grandma's house, classes etc. I love that it's organic, has non-garish colors and is easily washable. The cover is a great plus too. The mat easily rolls up and binds via a velcro strap and stuffs into the carry cover easily. This is one of my all time favorite purchases!

Rated 3 out of 5 Lovely but not necessary
I registered for this and loved it when I received it as a gift. It is very soft and sweet and easy on the eyes compared to most tacky activity mats. But I ended up not using it very much. Tummy time can be on a blanket or sofa or your tummy. And when you need a quiet moment, the dangly stuff on the activity mat is better at holding baby's attention. Makes a nice gift, but not a baby must-have.

Love this. It is extremely soft and is what i would want to lay on if I were a baby. I wish there were an option for overhead mobile type things to hang down onto it like other play mats, but the softness and adorableness makes up for (not to mention the healthy aspects of the materials and lack of plastic).

The Jungle Play Mat's pillow arrives to you tacked-down, but that's just to keep it tidy during shipping in its reusable yoga bag -- snip the threads and the pillow goes where you want it to.And, the monkey and elephant friends are both on self-velcro soft, elastic tethers, so you can keep them on the mat, or attach them to a stroller, car seat, or your baby's wrist!

What chemical or material makes the fill anti-microbial?Answers

Oops! We're so sorry that our lovely Jungle Play Mat lists an antimicrobial fill, and we thank so much for catching this mistake. We're updating the product information to make sure all of our customers have everything they need to make an informed decision about healthy toys for their children. The Jungle Play Mat is made from a 100% organic cotton exterior and is filled with 100% polyester fill that's denser and softer than poly-plush. MiYim doesn’t use any chemical flame retardants or softeners, and the dyes used to create color are made only from all-natural plant and mineral ingredients.
