So glad I had this for my newborn! Took a few tries to feel comfortable tying it but my son loved being in it. Knowing he was cozy and letting my hands be free made tasks like grocery shopping a breeze!

I've tried them all!! This is one of the top three carriers that I would recommend. I used this with my son from birth to 4 months. He loved it! I would put him in it and vacuum the entire house, do dishes, laundry and yard work. He would sleep safe and sound the entire time. Babies love being that close to their momma's when they're that small. The Moby is great because you can get a snug fit between you and your baby. The Moby requires some assistance the first few times that you put it on but after that you should be able to handle it on your own. I also highly recommend the Ergo for baby wearing post 3 or 4 months old.

i used this carrier everyday for the first few months of my daughters life. once you get used to putting it on, its soo comfy & kept my baby so snuggled - she would fall asleep on walks. i could run errands so easily & be hands free (it felt like i was still pregnant since she was so snug & happy)
ooonlyyy drawback is it can make you kinda hot in summer months

In those early weeks, when the baby wants to be close to you but you really just want to get the dishwasher emptied, the Moby is a lifesaver! It was also ideal with my C-Section because I could tie it high on my belly. It takes a little practice to learn the wraps but I got it down quickly. I even worked out a couple times doing lunges and squats while wearing baby! My little guy is heavy so we outgrew this quickly, it just didn't have the support of the Ergo.

My baby (and me, sometimes) was very comfortable in this wrap, but it takes forever to get baby in and out. If your baby falls asleep, forget about taking him out and putting him down still asleep!
There is definitely a learning curve to using this wrap, but once you get it, it's very comfortable. It's a lot easier than a traditional front carrier to move around and do things too. This color faded a little in the wash and is a little thick (because it's organic?) so I would go for a thinner, softer one. The thickness made it harder to get baby in, and also it gets very warm in there. Also, looks bulky when you have it on so it's not very flattering on mommy.

I carried my daughter every where in this the first few months of her life. Such sweet memories! I know lots of parents get pretty flustered trying to use the Moby for the first time. I had someone in a local store show me how to use it once, and that's all it took. I think it's really confusing if you don't see someone do it, so I recommend having someone at Giggle or another store show you how to do it, or watch a YouTube video about it. The Moby was one of the best infant products I had and I am grateful for the close bodily contact it gave me and my daughter, as well as the chance for me to carry her around so I could get some chores done!

This was a great item for my son when he was born. We used it basically immediately but it took a while to get used to how to wrap it. It always felt like a very very long piece of cloth and I would have to do some strange movements to get it on right. I have a friend who got very good at it and was able to do it quickly out and about but I was never that capable.
