With my older kids we had the Bjorn, and this Ergo seemed much more comfortable for both the baby and the parent. (I didnt love that they seemed to be balancing on their crotch!) My husband is 6'4" and used it a lot comfortably; I am 5''8' and also used it with a slight adjustment in the strap. I dont think using it past 20 lbs is really that practical, but I have seen others do it.

The Ergo was highly recommended to us by several people, so we enthusiastically purchased it along with the newborn insert. Once our baby girl arrived we started using it and found it to be incredibly awkward and uncomfortable -- both for my husband and me -- and for our little baby. It was bulky and complicated and I felt like I was cramming my baby into something. We gave up on the Ergo and bought another (well known) brand and we're very happy. Sadly the Ergo was a waste of $$ for us since I believe it's too late to return it to Giggle. I know a lot of people love this product, but for some reason it really did not work for us, though we did give it a good effort.

My baby and I love the ERGObaby Sport! I am 5'-5" and of medium build. My husband is 6'-3" and of medium build. This carrier is comfortable for both of us, which is saying a lot! My baby has just graduated to not needing the infant insert anymore and so far, so good. I use it to take Baby with me to the store down the street, on lengthier trips to Babies R Us, and we just got back from 6 days in San Francisco where we used it everyday!
Only drawback would be that you can't really sit comfortably while wearing it and Baby, but I think that's the case for all front-loading baby carriers? Makes for interesting posture when sitting in the pews at church...

This is great for proper weight distribution but if you are more petite, the straps are too wide. It would be great if Ergo carriers could also be forward facing. I haven't tried the hip position so I may not need forward facing, but the baby gets sick of the backward facing position.

We have had three different carriers and nothing compares. The ERGObaby is great for both parents to use. I would recommend ERGObaby to any one needing a carrier.
