Rated 5 out of 5 by Can't Live Without It One of the best products I own! I can wear this for hours and it doesn't bother me. I have a 2.5 month old and have been using this since about 6 weeks and did not use the infant insert. I just put her in the front with her legs lotus-style. She always falls asleep and stays asleep, as long as I'm moving. I just tried breastfeeding while wearing this and walking and it was so easy! It was great not having to stop and sit for 20 minutes. I recommend this to everyone, especially people who live in a big city or walk a lot. October 9, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 My favorite baby product ever I've used my Ergo with three kids. It's saved me and held up so well in the last five years. I highly recommend this for anyone who lives in a city, or has more than one child. May 21, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 ultimate comfort This is hands-down the most comfortable carrier I've used. I love that it holds my baby nice and close, and I love that I can use it on my back. I just wish that the baby could face forward on my chest. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by can't live without I used this for almost 18 months. It's great. Does take some time to get used to at first, but overall easy. It is also soo comfortable. I got a baby bjorn at my shower and used it twice. It is soo uncomfortable as all the wait is on your shoulders and upper back. I had a tiny baby and found the ergo great. I carefully swaddled her and used additional blankets until she was old enough to support herself. She was on the verge of having hip problems (common with first born girls) and i swear carrying her around in this helped alot ( no surgery or braces). My friend got the newer ergo sport and the material is much softer and lighter. I'd buy that, but this one is still in great condition. I slammed the buckle in the car door and the manufacture sent me a new one for free! You get what you pay for. If you have back problems, this is a great solution if you still want to snuggle your little one! March 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the carrier to get We bought a bunch of other carriers before coming upon this one. Once your baby can support her/his head, this is the carrier to get. It's very comfortable and baby is secure. It's expensive, but worth it. Don't bother with other carriers until you've tried this one. And you don't need to get the organic version. March 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Really easy to put on or take off, only wish that the baby could face the front like the bjorn. March 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Carrier Ever I cannot say enough kind words of this carrier. I am rather petite so it was a challenge to find one that fit my narrow shoulders, could still bear the weight of my son, and work equally as well for my husband. We found it with the Ergo! And my son loves it to pieces. We started him in it when he was just a couple of weeks old, using the infant insert, and have continued on without it. He is so at ease and relaxed that he oftentimes just falls right to sleep. I've also been able to nurse him in it with no problems. It's our go to gear for walks and errands since it keeps my hands free and gets us in and out of stores and through crowded sidewalks with ease. It's also a lifesaver when traveling. Instead of struggling with car seats and strollers through the airport and at gate check, my son just camps out in the carrier and relaxes from the time we get to the airport until we land at our destination. And a little side note - love the zipper pocket in the front - it's big enough to hold a cell phone, some keys and my wallet, so I don't have to carry a purse! So many wonderful things about the Ergo!!! March 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Savior The ERGO carrier has been much more than a carrier for us. Initially we were living in San Francisco and our newborn had extremely fussy periods at night. Not wanting to disturb our neighbors, we would put our baby in the carrier and walk and bounce and he would calm down and fall asleep. From that angle, the carrier quickly became a staple in our house. Since then we have used it multiple time a day to take walks and run errands. It's nice to have the baby facing inwards initially to help keep him safe and secure. People love touching little babies faces for some reason- this position helped keep him out of reach while he was so little and vulnerable. Even now that he is fourth months old and way more alert, the positioning allows for him to still sit comfortably and he will still take naps while we walk. Both my husband and I have used this extensively and we love it. The piece that canopies over their head is really important on days when it's too warm for a hat, but you don't want their head sunburned. This carrier is the most comfortable for the baby and child. We have compared it to a front facing Phil and Ted pack, which we also have, but this one is still more comfy. This is by far the most long-lived baby item we have purchased. As a new mom I didn't realize how quickly things become useless, this is certainly an item the baby and parent can grow with. March 19, 2012
