This car seat is amazing! The fact that it swivels truly makes me life SO MUCH EASIER. When not in use, I leave the car seat attached to the base, but swiveled out towards the door so that it is extremely easy to put my daughter in before swiveling it into its place. I have never had another infant car seat and honestly can't imagine trying to get a squirming infant into the seat when it's facing the seat. My one gripe is that it says that it fits infants from 4 lbs up. We brought our daughter home at 4 lb 5 oz and had the settings on the smallest/ tightest settings and I do not believe that they adequately held her in place. She was able to take her arms out from behind the straps and move them in towards her body with her hands up by her face. My situation is an extreme and I know the majority of people will not be using this for 4 lb babies. Following our departure from the hospital, I purchased the infant body support (also through giggle), which sort of bulked her up. This was a huge help. She is now 6 lbs and I feel that with the infant body support, we were able to hold her into the car seat firmly once she was about 4 lb 12 oz and up. The Orbit is one of perhaps 5 infant car seats that says it even fits infants as small as 4 lbs, so I wouldn't say this is a detriment (once you get the body support), but I would like others to be aware in case they bring home preemies (buy the body support too!).

I don't know why no other company has figured out the rotating base. It is such a help when getting in and out of the car, on the stroller at a restaurant or just about any other place you can imagine!
The infant seat is fairly big and is a little tight in the backseat of my Jetta. It probably wouldn't fit in a smaller car.
Overall, I love this travel system. I have the toddler seat, but my little guy is still little :)

We love the orbit system. Our baby is 18 lbs now and this system has made lifting him in and out of the car a lot easier!! Pricey but well worth it.

I love the way this carseat looks. I love how easy it is to carry (although it is a bit heavy). I love that it's easy to twist it around to put your baby in or take your baby out. My only dislike is that my baby seemed to slouch in it until he was almost 3 months old, even with an added insert.

This was my one MUST HAVE item after doing tons of research on the internet... the price tag is steep but the convenience and functionality that come along with the orbit g2 far surpass any other stroller system I have seen. I would HIGHLY recommend and my husband would agree. You won't regret it :)
