I was one of those women for whom breast-feeding was not the instant natural, comfortable experience you read about.
It hurt!
These pads were a lifesaver for early on in the breast-feeding process and helped my sore nipples until nursing got more comfortable (I promise... it does get better!!).
Do yourself a favor and get these if you are having any nipple soreness, it is such a relief and I'm so glad I made it through the initial pain to be able to nurse more comfortably.

I purchased these after a friend recommended them, and I am so happy that I did. During the first few days of breastfeeding, when my nipples were sore and raw these were a lifesaver. They are on the expensive side for a few gel pads, but I would have paid three times as much for the amount of relief these provided.
