The closest thing to breastfeeding, and I've tried all the different "mimics breastfeeding" type of bottles and nipples. If your baby doesn't have complete suction around the nipple, then milk does not come out. Also I like it because it keeps baby's latch wide so there is no nipple confusion when they come back to the breast.
But if your baby has already taken a bottle, it will be hard for him/her to relearn this nipple. This is great for an exclusively breastfed baby that has never had a traditional bottle/nipple.
The nipple is very large though, so it's not great for very young babies.

After trying several other slow flow nipples our baby was still having trouble accepting the bottle after being exclusively breastfed. This nipple did the trick and she is able to switch between the bottle and breast with no problem.
