Easy for kids to hold, easy to clean, and a great transitional spout - soft but not a nipple!
I highly recommend it. (only annoying part - handles are removed only by taking the cap off first.)

This is a great concept but the one i purchased leaks occasionally even when I screw the top on super tight.

we were having problems transitioning my daughter to a sippy cup--she just couldn't give up the silicone nipple. I found this and it was perfect, she loved it and it really helped the transition. I especially loved that it was made from safe plastic.
the problem was that it leaked like crazy and the plastic ring cracked after it was dropped on the floor a couple of times (because toddlers, as we all know, like to throw their sippies!)
it did exactly what I needed it to do, which was transition us from the bottle to the sippy. I just wish it had lasted a little longer.

Good question! The American Academy of Pedicatrics recommends teaching your child to use a cup as soon as possible. You could start introducing a sippy cup as early as 6 months, or as soon as they can maintain a good tight grasp. Let them explore the idea of a different style cup so that you can begin to wean them from a bottle around 12 months.Of course, each child is different, so we always highly recommend speaking to your pediatrician to decide what is the best route for your child.
