Rated 5 out of 5 by scanpennett Great for toddlers! My son just turned one and we have graduated from purees to toddler food. Even though he loves all of his fruits and veggies I purchased 2 recipe books on "sneaking" fruits and veggies into your kid's food (you know the books) to make sure he gets all of his daily servings. When I made baby food purees, I preferred the ice cube tray method because I could give him 2 or 3 1/2 oz. cubes of a couple different fruits or veggies. Now, the recipes I'm using say to store the mixed purees in PLASTIC BAGS in 1/4 cup portions. Not only was this not easy it was an incredible waste of plastic bags. The Beaba Multiportion solved the problem. Each portion is 1/4 cup - the tray holds 1 3/4 cups (I bought 2 because I always batch cook). I freeze the portions and store in 1 freezer bag. It cleans up very easily. I'm still holding on to my silicone ice cube trays for the next child because the portions are much too large for an infant unless you only want to feed them a single food. I absolutely LOVE it! January 14, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by margareth LOVE IT! this is great! you always know how much you are freezing, the little portions pop out very easily so you can defrost them one at a time if you wish. great product! June 12, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by FromTheMommyFlats Not just for pureed baby food! I love these for giving my toddler snacks. Apparently since she seems to be a bit OCD like her grandmother (my mother). So she doesn't like her dried blueberries touching her diced cheese. This perfectly divides everything and she can carry it easily. Plus with the great plastic 'top' I can slide it into the fridge or leave it out without everything inside going bad immediately. May 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 Good This storage tray works well - easy to use, washes well and the food pops out pretty easily. Just a little expensive for what it is. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by heck729 Love these containers I started making baby food with the Beaba when my baby was 3 months old and freezing it. I would freeze the food in these containers and then pop out the individual portions and place them in freezer bags. They are a little pricey, but the quality is worth it to me. You could probably get by with 2 trays and freeze the food like I did in freezer bags. I now have 8 of these, so I no longer use freezer bags unless I'm making bulk foods. March 21, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by swy54 Easy and convenient. These trays make it super easy to freeze food for later. Each tray holds seven servings which is perfect if you make food for the week. Sometimes it is a little hard to get open and close since you have to snap it around each food pod. I bought these because they are stackable but because I have a drawer-type freezer, they do get all over the place and don't stay stacked. If you have only a few pods of food left and you want to use the tray again for new food, you can just pop out the frozen food and put them in ziploc bags until you are ready to use them. Rated 3 out of 5 by TracyB there are better options for freezing These are difficult to use. Frozen food does not pop out very easily. I have had better luck with silicone ice cube trays for freezing pureed foods. On the other hand, I found them useful as toddler serving trays when my toddler liked variety but wanted all the foods to be separated. March 18, 2012

Q:I noticed that the containers retain the odor of the food that was in it- even after extensive washing. Is this normal? Any suggestions on how to get rid of the odors? Thank you
A:What you are experiencing is perfectly normal – the Multiportions Food Storage Tray is holding certain odors within the silicone and we advise soaking the tray in warm water with a little bit of Baking Soda, in an effort to remove those stubborn odors.
