These trays are so handy. I try to make baby food as much as possible and these trays are so convenient. I used to freeze the food in ice cube trays with plastic wrap over it, but now I don't have to. The lids are awesome. They keep out freezer funk and prevent messy accidents when loading them into the fridge. My baby eats more now so I just pop out 2 cubes instead of 1.
If you're not into making baby food, you can still use the trays to freeze jarred food. Pop a cube into a container and off you go...the cube will be defrosted by the time your baby needs to eat while you're out!

We are still using these at 18 months and just bought a few more, I make all kinds of veggies even with meat and freeze them in these containers and pop them out daily for meals. They are perfect and work really well.

These trays are great for storage. Easy to get food out of and clean up nicely in the dishwasher. Only issue I have had since my purchase two months ago is that one of the tabs broke off of a lid.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by 1 Plastic is not sturdy
I bought 4 of these freezer trays to store pureed foods for our babies. After freezing the food, I popped out the food cubes and noticed that the plastic inside the cube had scraped off (this happened on 3 trays. I threw away the food cubes because they probably had plastic scraps or shavings inside of them. It was very disappointing and frustrating to have to throw away organic baby food that took a lot of time and effort to make. The plastic on these freezer trays needs to be made more sturdy to withstand freezing and having the food cubes popped out without accumulating plastic slivers.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Firstmom Nice portions, but...
I make my own baby food and bought the trays to freeze the extra food. While they are very convenient, I found that with certain foods that do not freeze well (like bananas) are very difficult to pop out of the trays. I ended up buying the silicone ones as well and love them.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by logillespie Doesn't preserve baby food well
Although this is easy to use, I found that the purees did not keep well because you take them in and out of the freezer often and sometimes it wasn't that easy to pop out an individual serving without others coming out too.

Everyone says to use ice trays but they don't usually have lids. The lids keep the food from getting freezer burn and also have space for writing what's in them. Pair this with the Beaba baby food maker or the baby food book for a great gift!

Holds the perfect amount, easy to use. Only thing is that carrots and squash easily stain the trays. But, overall, a great product...we've bought 4 packages of them!
