I've been known to be a bit neurotic when researching and purchasing my baby gear, but I feel that it really paid off with this purchase. To be honest, I had my heart set on another chair, until I saw this new in the store several months ago. I had my six month old son sit in several just to see his posture and how comfortable he would be eating, or relaxing, and found the Peg Perego Siesta to be the best fit. Not only is my son sitting up straight, but the padding is just enough to keep him comfortable without slouching. The chair also folds up nicely, which is convenient in our small living space, and for trips to grandparents when we need to bring it along. I also liked the fact that the chair reclines, which made it easier for the first messy feedings of the baby, but will also come in handy as a resting place for our future baby. Lastly I cannot say enough about the quality of construction and overall product. It is extremely sturdy and sound. Easy to clean. Easy to move (the wheels lock into place by default, which is a nice safety feature, requiring you to push a button to roll the chair around). Overall, I would highly recommend this high chair!
