Life saver! Who knew I would use this product so much! It is so convenient and easy to use. I like that I can simply sterilize pacifiers with only the small container or fit all of my bottles/pumping misc into both. Super smart product. And fast!

(2)Q:
There is lots of condensation/water on items after running the sterilizer and items don't really seem to dry. Is there a recommendation on how to get items dry before using without un-sterilizing them? Thanks.Answers
A:
Avent's Electric Steam Sterilizer uses steam to sterilize, so it's only natural that condensation forms once a cycle completes. Check the following to reduce the amount of condensation:1. Use only 3oz of water, no more no less, for each cycle.
2. When loading the sterilizer, make sure that steam can effctively circulate around all surfaces and that any water can drain off easily.
3. If necessary, shake-off any excess water from items before assembling.
4. Before running the next cycle, emply excess water from the sterilizer.
Q:
Is it ok to put glass bottles in the Avent Electric Steam Sterilizer? Thanks!
Answers
A:
As well as bottles and breastfeeding accessories, Avent's Electric Steam Sterilizer will sterilize any other boilable items. Make sure to refer to the manufacturer's instructions regarding the proper method of sterilization for all of your baby bottles, and breastfeeding accessories!Q:
Is this product electrical or do you need a microwave?Answers
A:
Avent's Electric Steam Sterilizer is electric -- the unit sits on a counter surface, and plugs into an A/C outlet with the included A/C power cord. Simple, and straight-forward, this time-saving sterilizer (sterilizes in only 6 minutes!), is perfect for parents who don't have the time to boil their bottles, nipples, pump parts, and toys, and want to ensure that they've eliminated all harmful bacteria.1 of 1
