I definitely did my homework in picking out a mattress - I wanted something safe, organic, comfortable - pretty much perfect. When the mattress was delivered and fit snuggly into our Century Crib I was so happy. It was the perfect fit, firmness and the quality I was hoping for. No bumpy uncomfortable springs or toxic plastic here!

Is organic worth extra cost? Not sure, but we always air on the Side of being safe. Plus we will have this for many more children, so hoping it will last!

Of all the things that mattered the most when shopping for our little one, we worried and researched the most about the mattress. We wanted something not only safe and free of nasty chemicals, but soft and welcoming for our little one to lie her face upon. We found it with this mattress. Great quality, price, and firmness! 14 months later, we still feel like our little one is safe when we put her to bed.

It was a hard choice finding a mattress and deciding whether or not to go organic. In the end I thought it was best to go the organic route because I plan on having this mattress for a long long time, better to make a good investment now.

I just received my organic cotton crib mattress and I am very pleased with how it is constructed, and how well it fits in our Newport Cottage Crib! I think its definitely worth spending a little more to get a mattress thats organic when you consider how many hours your child spends sleeping. I also like that because the mattress is waterproof on all sides you really don't need a waterproof mattress pad so I think it will breathe better. The fact that it is the seamless design also is great because there are no gaps between the crib and mattress. It also arrived at my door in just 3 days very well packaged and clean!

hello! i've been reading a lot about sids prevention - and there are many studies suggesting that fire retardant materials could be a cause. I know the mattress is organic, but does that only pertain to the filling? Does the outer coating of the mattress need to be fire retardant to meet codes???? Thank you!Answers
