Just recently purchased the Perch Bunk Bed in Walnut. I'm 7 months pregnant with our 2nd child. Our 21 month old still sleeps in his Oeuf Sparrow Crib at night but we're slowly transitioning him to the lower bunk of the Perch for his naps. I'm hoping to have him sleeping full-time in the lower bunk before the baby is born. That way, we won't have a need for a 2nd crib. We decided on the Perch for the following reasons:
-great price point for the quality and design
-beautifully matches the Walnut Sparrow Crib
-overall size works well in our small 2 bedroom house
-accessories; security rail for lower bunk (available now) and play tent for loft configuration (coming soon)

What type of matress should i get for lower bunk? Regular twin? How about for the top bunk?

Both upper and lower bunks take a standard twin mattress (not included) -- use a top bunk mattress no more than 8" thick and a lower bunk mattress between 5-8" deep when using the guard rail.giggle's recommends the following twin mattresses:

Hi - am very interested in this bed, but read a review on another site that the bed squeaks very loudly when children move on it or when parent sings to child and then gets up - loud enough to disturb sleep. Oeuf was supposedly working on fixing this - am wondering whether they have before deciding on whether to purchase. Thanks!Answers
