The dimensions include 21.5" H, which I assume is the height of the headboard/footboard. What is the height of the mattress platform/base? I am trying to determine how far my toddler will be from the floor. Also, is there any type of guard rail available to match this bed? Thank you.

giggle's very own Harper Toddler Bed has a mattress platform that is elevated 8.85" from the floor. Measure the thickness of the crib mattress you plan to use and add the thickness to the 8.85" for a total elevation (considering that crib mattresses are typically anywhere from 4" to 6" thick, the highest a child will be is 14.85").At this time giggle does not offer a guard rail that will fit/match this bed.
