Rated 5 out of 5Â by daniT Best Changing Table around!
This changing table is so great! I love that you are facing your child and it is great that it can later be made into a desk or book shelf!! It has plenty of storage space below and the bins on the side are great because wipes, diaper cream, sunscreen and powder are right there and it does not look cluttered! Great product from a great company!

The changing table allows your baby to be in the best position for changing a diaper. It fits in a small space and has plenty of storage for diapers and blankets and two trays on the side for wipes and other diaper changing items. I actually use this changing table for changing diapers. I know it sounds funny but it makes changing diapers so easy. The best part is you can use it for shelving or a desk after the diaper years. No complaints

If you have the room, this is the changing table to get. Baby is high up, great storage, and super stylish. Baby faces you, as opposed to laying opposite you. Makes changing a bliss. Love love love this product. And it becomes a desk when baby no longer needs a changing station!

No other changing table that is made so well & the baby faces you! Plus tons of storage & later converts to a desk. Goes great with the Giggle Harper crib!

Now that our little girl is 6 months old, I can tell you that this was one of the best buys we did! We keep all of her clothes, blankets, and bibs in the cloth bins below the table. Living in 900sq ft with little closet space, that is a fantastic feature!! I am tall (5'10") and changing her on here is a dream. Also, when she would get fussy as a little baby, I would put her on here and do bicycle legs and she would stop crying! I look forward to using this for many years to come, and we are about to buy the Tripp Trapp high chair that we will eventually use as the desk chair to this piece!

This is a wonderful changing table! It is compact and yet holds so much!
Word of advice: The full description of the product does not include the fact that the system comes with 2 white plastic oval containers that fit on the sides. When I asked our salesperson Beth in the Chicago store, she said I had to order them separately - outside of the Giggle store. The only way to get them is to go through Stokke directly. When the system arrived from Giggle it did actually include these containers. So I now have 4, which is fine because there is plenty of space to fit them all.

This is one pricey changing table and, admittedly, we got it as a gift, but we sure do love it. It is so comfortable and easy to use - no stooping and no awkward sideways changing (which we have to do at grandma and grandpa's). It also looks great, so we don't mind having it in our living room. (We have a hand-me-down, more traditional changing table upstairs in the baby's room.) The only reason I hesitate to give it 5 stars is the price, but considering you'll probably be changing diapers for at least two or three years (or more if you have more than one child), your back will thank you for the splurge!

From 2001-2005 I worked in LDRP as an RN. We always changed the babies facing the baby and not from the side. When I saw this product I knew I had to have it! It arrived very quickly and was so easy to put together with the help of my hubby. We are expecting in October and are super excited to use it! I like the idea that it is a piece of furniture that can be used as the baby grows. It is a good size of furniture, so make sure you have the space- it is the depth that is much larger than the typical side changing table. The changing space is so much larger than your typical side changing table- lots of space for our little one to wiggle and not fall off! Note to others- there is an added safety strap- if you want this option make sure to attach it before you start the assembly of the table. Seems to be an added safety requirement since some people don't follow the directions of never leaving your baby on a changing table without one hand on them.....

Q:Â
Hello,I was wondering if you might have the changing table of stokke in gray color.
Please let me know,
Thanks,

We're big fans of Stokke's "gray", too, but Stokke has discontinued the gray on their furniture. If you're interested in a changing table in gray you may want to consider giggle's Alex Dresser or Oeuf's Sparrow Three-Drawer Dresser.
To turn either dresser into a changing station simply attach a giggle Better Basics Contoured Changing Pad to the dresser's top and you have an instant changing table!

Q:Â
We will be purchasing the stokke bassinet/crib set as well as the changing table but I do not see a dresser. We are excited about all the features and that it is safe. Does giggle not sell the dresser?Answers
A:Â
giggle's furniture assortment features a variety of dressers that, while not made by Stokke, will beautifully coordinate with Stokke's Sleepi Crib and Care Changing Table. At this time giggle does not plan to add Stokke's Dresser, but we recommend that you look at our safe, well-made, lovely suggestions below!Products from my answer
Q:Â
Q: what are the dimensions and weight of the box for the Stokke Care changing table? Thanks
Answers
A:Â
Stokke's Care Changing Table weighs 63 lbs., and measures 31"L x 41"H x 9"W in its flat-pack box.Q:Â
I do already have an organic changing table pad. It looks as if due to the shape of this table, I may not be able to use it. Are any other pads compatible with this table? Thanks.Answers
A:Â
Stokke's Care Changing Table dimensions (29.6" L x 26.5" W) do not fall into a "standard" category for changing tables (typically 16"W x 32"L, or 17"W x 33"L). Therefore, Stokke includes the changing pad with the Care Changing Table!Q:Â
Is the changing pad made from organic, non-toxic materials? What are they? Thanks.Answers
A:Â
Stokke's Care Changing Table Mattress cover 100% acrylic coated cotton, and is filled with polyurethane foam. Innovative Stokke has made it convenient for parents to keep diaper duty clean -- you can even machine wash warm this mattress!Q:Â
I've read that the Stokke CARE needs a terrycloth cover (sold separately); however the cover isn't waterproof. How do you find a waterproof pad/cover that fits the unique size of the CARE changing table?Answers
A:Â
The changing pad is made of polyurethane foam and is water-repellent. Our customers have not found that an additional waterproof layer has been necessary. We do however still recommend the Stokke Care Changing Pad Terry Cover, which provides an extra layer of comfort and makes keeping your changing pad clean and neat much easier!Q:Â
Just wanted to make sure the changing table comes with the baskets and the side pockets just as it is shown in the photo, is this the case?Answers
Q:Â
It sounds like the length (29.6")correlates to the depth of the table. Is that correct? It's slightly confusing when you have both the length and width listed...sorry!Answers
A:Â
No worries. The 29.6" length is from the front, where you would be standing, to the back, near the head of the infant. The Care is definitely a unique type of changing table, so I hope this makes the measurements more clear for you!Q:Â
I see that the width of this table is 26.5"....how long can you use the table for? It seems like it wouldn't be long enough for a baby after a few months. Won't their feet hang off?Answers
A:Â
You are correct in that the width is 26.5"; however, the length is 29.5". Typically, changing pads are around 33"L, so it is not a great difference in length. You should be able to use this table just as long as you would use any other. The trade-off for having a slightly shorter pad is that you have an ergonomically friendly table with an additional 10" in width for the baby to spread out. Both baby and parent will be super comfortable when using this table! In addition, this table be can used for the life of the child! Once it is done being used as a changing table, it can convert to a play table, student desk, and media/book shelf!
