I love the two sides-- the cozy plush side when it's colder and the cotton side that feels cooler and more durable. The big benefit of this blanket though is the thickness-- it's perfect for folding under your baby when you're nursing. This made the transition from nursing my baby on a pillow to nursing him in my arms so much easier-- I used this to prop his little butt up on my lap and haven't encountered any other blanket that worked as well (most are too thin).
