Our 8-mo-old daughter goes to sleep with this blankie snuggled against her face and gripped in her fist as she sucks her thumb. BEST BLANKIE. We snipped the bunny off (which she also likes to play with and chew on). I had no idea that she would love this blankie, but MAN, she does. We're buying two more.

My baby loves her bunnies (this and the organic Better Basic one). This is soft and cuddly, but the blanket piece is larger and thicker and seems could block air. I wouldn't leave it in baby's crib just in case (at least until she is older and is pass the age when the risk of SIDS higher)

Our daughter is a big blankie fan at naps and night, though several months ago hadn't yet begun to discriminate between any particular blankie. As a result we bought and tried many different brands, many with high pricetags, trying to find the blankie that best took a beating (being loved, drooled on, being washed frequently, etc). Barefoot Dreams is head and shoulders above the rest. Their blankets are incredibly soft and do very well being washed AND dried (some brands that shall remain nameless can't be dried in the clothes dryer!! Crazy for any product marketed for babies.) This particular blankie has, over time, become my daughter's favorite. We snipped off the rabbit, which she didn't care about, but she loves the blankie with its satin edges. We just bought two more, to have in rotation. Highly recommended by a mom who's tried all the blankie brands out there.
