This extra-versatile bassinet clicks right into the frame of your Orbit G2 stroller system so you never have to wake your sleeping baby. It's great for use as a travel bed, and can even be used with the included rocking frame for use as a cradle.
Why it's a giggle pick This is a great accessory to get the most out of your Orbit G2, plus it collapses flat to just six inches high for travel or storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Return of the Monster Clasp We use the bassinet as a second, portable crib and it works very well - however, I am slightly annoyed by the over-paranoid built-in safety features of most of the American-built stroller gear. In this case, you have an ENORMOUS non-removable, padded safety clasp/strap which comes in handy when riding around (rugged terrain?), but when stationary at home, seems incredibly unnecessary. In Europe most of the traditional stroller makers don't have that kind of "safety features", take a look at some of the best (and super safe) Swedish strollers at http://www.emmaljunga.se/ for good examples of well-built, safe and simple bassinets (featuring extra head padding etc). Apart from this, the bassinet works well - though it misses a lot of extra niceties of its European counterparts, like better ventilation and more flexible detachable interior. The paparazzi shield comes in handy as an extra sun/wind screen. April 25, 2010
