I received this basket as a shower gift for my first child. We used it the minute we came home from the hospital. Just note that the "mattress" is very thin, and not as plush as we would have thought, but this was ok for the baby. The sheet that comes with the mattres didn't fit correctly, so we simply wrapped the mattress with a blanket. Our baby immediately took to napping in the basket. It's a great size, and super convenient to keep in the living room or move about the house as needed.

Is this basket safe as a fulltime sleeper for up to 15lbs? There seems to be a bit of a gap between the mattress and the bumper and the mattress moves around easily. It must be left on the floor for sleeping or can it be placed in a rocker/stand?Answers
