Keep your baby close at night with this co-sleeper bassinet. Because it attaches to your bed with one side open, your baby is an arm's reach away for comforting or breastfeeding so you don't even have to get up. And because it's still separate from your bed, you never have to worry about your baby's safety.
Why it's a giggle pick This is a great option for keeping baby very nearby and accessible, but still separate. Plus, it's portable enough to take along as a travel bed.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Compact and great for nursing mothers! I have nothing to compare this to since we bought this for our first son and never used a traditional bassinet. This was a great product for my family as well as my son. It is nice and small so it was perfect for out 1000 sf apt. we would keep it in our living space during the day for him to nap in then roll it down out narrow hall way to our bedroom during the night. One side folds down so the crib can slide up to your bed almost as an extension of your space. I loved having him so close at eye level and within arms reach, but he felt safely tucked away from us bumping or harming him in our sleep. I would nurse and put him back with ease. Folds up nicely for travel and there is a space under the sleeper for storage. I loved stashing things down there to avoid clutter in our small space. I just lent to a friend in our similar space and she loved it just as much. May 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential for the first few months! As other reviewers have said, this co-sleeper is an absolute essential if you intend to breastfeed your newborn as it makes picking up, feeding, and putting back the baby at night a breeze. It is quite easy to setup and use, does not take up too much space, but my two favorite features are: 1- it securely attaches onto the parents' bed so you can have the baby very closeby without worrying about the dangers of sharing the parents' bed; 2- the entire lower section of the bassinet (in addition to the side pockets) is designed as a zippered storage space. This is great for storing extra baby clothes, toys, and swaddle blankets neatly out of sight. September 24, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential This is essential if you are breast feeding. Our baby slept in this till about month 5 or so. It makes breast feeding in the middle of night less disruptive to your sleep, as all you have to do is bring baby over to you without your leaving the bed. March 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best post baby purchase We didn't register for a co-sleeper because I already had a pack and play with a bassinet feature and thought surely that was sufficient. I quickly realized that was not going to work for me and purchased this co-sleeper. Best. Purchase. Ever. My daughter slept in it till she was six months old, and probably could have gone another couple of months. I loved having her right next to me, while still each having our own space for sleep. It made night time nursing very do-able. My only regret? With baby number two coming, I am seriously thinking we should have gotten the full sized instead of the mini. March 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by good for newborns This bed worked best for us in the early months when our baby could be nursed and then placed here to sleep. Once he hit around 4 months, this kind of transfer would wake him. After this point, the baby mostly slept in our bed and the co-sleeper functioned as a bed rail. March 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for small spaces I love the Arms Reach Bassinet. It's the perfect size for constrained space and even acts as a storage unit below the bed part. I feel my son is safe next to our bed. We can either put one side down which we had done up until a week old (he's 5 weeks now) and now we raised the one side because I was too afraid that we'd throw a pillow in there by accident during the night since the bassinet is so close to our bed. I also like it because it has netting and I can see my baby through this without looking over him. I wish it had 4 wheels to move to other rooms more easily - it has only 2 wheels and while it's not difficult to push - it's very lightweight. I think it would be better to have 4 wheels for easy manipulation. March 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by better than a bassinet A traditional bassinet just never felt solid enough for me (all that rocking--I didn't trust myself in the middle of the night with something that didn't have 4 solid legs). This sleeper is so sturdy and it cozies right up to the bed side. In those crazy first weeks when I was always up in the middle of the night, this was stable and convenient. My daughter wasn't a great sleeper so it was great (for me) to always have her close by. And great for late night feedings. It's just like a little side-car for the bed. We kept her in this until she was about 7 months old. March 11, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty great product I enjoy that it can go right up to the side of my bed and I can watch my baby. I think it's a great product. I love the size. My only complaint is that I wish it had an option to make it even with your mattress. Instead, the rail matches the mattress height but the baby is on a mattress that is sunken in a little. The Mini Co-sleeper Bassinet mattress (which includes one sheet!) accepts a sheet that measures 19" x 32.5". At this time giggle does not offer that size, and recommends the Arm's Reach Mini Co-sleeper Bassinet Fitted Sheet.

organic mattress

Q:
A question about the mattress material was asked about 17 months ago and you replied that you / the manufacturers were investigating an organic mattress that would work with this co-sleeper.
Has that happened in the past 17 months? I like the co-sleeper but I definitely want an organic mattress. Any suggestions?

A:
The Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper is ideal for parents who want an independent, bassinet-style co-sleeper for an infant up to approximately 5 months in age (or when the child begins to push up on hands & knees, whichever comes first). Arm's Reach does offer an organic mattress for their Mini Co-Sleeper Bassinet, which may be ordered directly from Arm's Reach at 1.800.954.9353.

Another option to consider is Bloom's Alma Mini Crib. A smaller bassinet-size crib, Alma Mini is built to crib standards, folds-up for storage and travel, and may be used until a child is 1-year old, offering the ultimate in bassinet-sized longevity in a "perfect-fit" footprint for parents planning to co-sleep. Parents who want to build a healthy, chemical-free sleep environment for their infant may also opt for an organic mattress, organic sheets, and an organic mattress protector.

Q:
This model is described on the arm's reach website as specifically a model that doesn't turn into a play yard... http://www.armsreach.com/shop-3/the-mini-6/
and instead they say they have another model the "convertible" that changes into a play yard... http://www.armsreach.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=cPath=cPath=3_18_7

Can you please confirm despite this that the model you are selling can safely be changed into a play yard? Thanks!

A:
Arm's Reach's Mini Co-Sleeper Bassinet may easily be converted from a bassinet/co-sleeper into a playard. Simply remove the fabric liner that's used to "raise" the floor of the unit, replace the co-sleeper side that's folded down (if it's in co-sleeper mode), and place the mattress on the unit's "floor". The playard feature may be used until a child is 23lbs, or until they can pull themselves up on their knees.
