Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! Received as a gift from my registry and instantly fell in love with it. It is so convenient and so easy to travel with because it folds easily and comes with i's own traveling bag. Perfect whenever you have to spend the night somewhere else with baby. July 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome pack & play for travel! We love this pack & play/cot. We got it as a gift before our baby was born and liked it so much, we bought the larger size once he grew out of the little one. The smaller one is great to have in the living room, etc. because it doesn't take up a lot of space and the color is neutral! It folds like a dream and was very comfy...our little guy can sleep 12+ hours in it! April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Expect the Best We reviewed quite a few different options for pack and plays, and found that none of them really met our expectations in terms of material and build quality. They just seemed flimsy and over cumbersome to collapse and transport. Enter the Sena Mini. This thing feels solid when it fully open. Collapsing was also a breeze with the one handed strap operation. Collapsed, this will fit perfectly in our car. It comes with a bag you can put it in that is also a nice plus. I've definitely come to expect the best when it comes to Nuna products, and they do not disappoint. March 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great compact product, high quality We were looking for a modern, attractive, and nicely priced pack-n-play product. We looked at many of the bulky, and big pack-n-play's on the market, as well as many of the modern looking bassinets. What appealed to us about the Nuna Sena Mini was: -Very compact -Portable -Modern Looking -Bassinet Feature! The Bassinet feature was great, in the we really didn't need a separate unit for this. Our little guy loves the bassinet, and has taken too it nicely. Plus, this is very portable with the ability to break it down easily. The Sena is quite easy to collapse, and off you go. The only things I would say to be on the lookout for, is that since this is the Mini version, to be aware of the size. The smaller size was a plus for us, in that it doesn't take up a lot of space when being used. However, that might provide some limitations for families who are looking to use this for a longer term time. I imagine there will come a time when our guy might be too big for this. But I expect that is a year to 18 months away at least. We also purchased the grey nuna sena mini crib sheets. They are super soft and comfortable. However, we have had a bit of a problem getting stains out of the sheets. Not sure why, we are thinking we'll contanct Nuna about that directly. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product My son is 15 months and I was very reluctant to buy a Pack N' Play ... I finally, after 15 months broke down and bought the Nuna. LOVE it. It is so very easy to put together, very light and perfect for travel. My son fits in it and was able to sleep through the night without any fuss. Highly recommend the product if you are looking for a mobile crib type of gadget. December 19, 2013

Nuna's Sena and Sena Mini are not only comfortable to sleep in overnight, they're also safe to sleep in overnight. Here's some information from our partners at Nuna:

• From an intended use perspective Nuna tests and certifies the Sena to the play yard standard ASTM 406
• For the anticipated Nuna ALSO tests and certifies the Sena to the Bassinets and Cradles standard ASTM 2194.

While play yards in general are not designed to be overnight sleeping products, Nuna's tested the Sena and Sena Mini to meet the standards for safe overnight sleeping products.

Nuna's Sena Mini Travel Cot includes a "bassinet" attachment so you can elevate the mattress for a newborn up to 15 lbs to easily access the baby. Once the baby outgrows the bassinet attachment, simply remove it and place the Sena mattress on the floor of the travel cot to continue using it up to age 18 months.

We've confirmed with Nuna that the 2014 change for Sena was removing the poles that have to be assembled underneath the mattress (Sena 2013 poles, Sena 2014, no poles). The Sena Mini does not have any poles that need need to be assembled, so there was no change made to the Mini.

Q:
Is the "lush, quilted mattress pad" suitable for a newborn? I've been told that mattresses should be very firm for little babies, and while this sounds great for a toddler, is it firm and safe enough for a newborn?

A:
When used with all of the Nuna-included components (including the mattress) Nuna's Sena Travel Cot meets and/or exceeds the mandatory Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations for play yards/travel cribs, and has been certified to the voluntary American Standards for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.

The mattress is a big overall contributor to the product's safety testing and certification -- these sturdy mattresses work in concert with the play yard/travel cot to add stability and ensure that there are no potential entrapment gaps, ensuring that your baby's play/sleep environment is as safe as possible, and are firm but comfortable for kids ages newborn to 3 years.

Q:
Although the fabric is listed as non-toxic and Giggle's reply to an earlier question on this states there are no flame retardants used, another mom got this answer (posted on a blog) when she asked the company about flame retardants in their Sena cot.
From an email: "The outside of the mattress is made of polyester. The inside is comprised of fiber fill and does contain a low amount of flame retardant."

Just because a company says the FABRIC is non-toxic, unfortunately doesn't mean much when it comes to the filling. Giggle- please don't assume things and misinform customers!

We've partnered to Nuna to get our customers some additional information about their products. Nuna's gone through all of the chemical lists with their engineers and checked giggle's individual orders, and, in partnership with Nuna, we can tell you the following:

1. The fire retardant standard in the US is changing. Nuna started removing the fire retardant chemicals from their products as soon as the law allowed. We can confirm that none of the Leaf, Sena or Pepp products shipped to giggle include any fire retardant chemicals.
2. Nuna will also be removing the California FR tag from their products in the future.
3. The Nuna Pipa fire retardant chemicals belong to the category of ammonium polyphosphate, which is not prohibited by any Cal Prop. 65, CPSIA or ASTM requirement.
4. Nuna will continue to push for the removal of fire retardant chemicals from all products as they believe that this is best for babies.
5. All Nuna fabrics and fiber-fill are Oeko-tex certified, even if they are required by law to include fire retardants.
