MobiCam's Digital DL Video Monitor may be adapted to a PC, smart phone, or other mobile devices.
Mobi’s optional “MobiCam Anywhere” software (requires an additional purchase, and not offered at giggle at this time) provides the viewer with Internet access to the camera signals via IP – on PC, smart phones and other mobile devices. The system is expandable up to 4 cameras and can be used as a wireless webcam. The DL can be connected to a DVR for recording and to a larger monitor screen for enhanced viewing.
Mobile device monitor technology is relatively new, and limited to certain devices at this time. A mobile device's battery life is shortened when streaming video, and requires the use of an A/C adapter, which means your monitor system is not "wireless"; 3 to 5 second WiFi transmission delay; and the inabiltiy to pan/scan/zoom are just some of the limitations of mobile device monitor technology.
It's due to the above reasons that giggle's "pick" for a "best" monitor option continues to be a traditional video monitor.
