I think I will just have these installed in our new home. They are so much safer and look a thousand times better than the old ones. Very sturdy and suprisingly not cheap looking or cheaply made. They did the trick. We changed out ALL of them.

They are easy to install and keep baby from choking on the kind with the removable ends. My son managed to get one of those ends off and put it in his mouth, from the other kind. So I did not hesitate to replace them with these ones, and so far no problems. Perhaps they could be a little more flexible or "rubbery", but other than that they are fine.

These door stops have served their purpose... our son kept taking off the screw-on springy stops that came in our house. These stay put, and eliminate the choking hazard of the little rubber end piece. However, these are not flexible at all, so when our son stands on them, which he's discovered he loves to do, they either snap in half or the whole thing pulls out of the door. We've not found any other solution, and we have another baby on the way, so we just keep replacing these...
