I was unsure this would work on our lazy susan, but this piece of plastic is a life saver. Not only was it easy to install, I was able to attach it to the skinny cabinet that holds our baking sheets next to the lazy susan and now it keeps two cabinets closed. My 1 year son has long since given up trying to open either, as they don't budge.

After wasting money on cheaper versions of cabinet locks, we found this one and gave it a try. We liked it so much, we bought more for our house and the grandparents' house! Easily sticks to cabinet door, then adjusts as needed. Also simple to open, but requires too much dexterity/strength for a toddler to get into (we have an almost 14 month old).

Will this work on an oven door? Is the adhesive strong enough to endure some heat?

Sorry, the Adjustable Locking Strap is not recommended for use with an oven. It is best suited for appliances like a refrigerator or dishwasher, in addition to cabinets, doors, and drawers.We will definitely keep in mind to add a safety product that will work on oven doors to our assortment; thanks for the call out!
