This humidifier was great while we had it. It was quiet, ran all night, and produced mist that I could control how much or how little. It seemed easier to care for than most other humidifiers, but found it needed cleaned often and it was difficult to do if you don't stay on top of swishing with warm soapy/vinegar water. We went out of town and forgot to clean it out and leave it open to dry and came home to a moldy humidifier that couldn't be saved (it stunk and the seal at the bottom had warped). We had it for a year and loved it while we had it. If I had to do it over again, I would buy this and also an old school bottle brush with bristles at the end and a flexible wire shaft to make cleaning easier and thorough.

Quiet and easy to use. Has a dial to adjust the amount of steam and the nozzle can be turned 360 degrees to point wherever you like. My only complaint is that it drips when changing out the water, but I guess, what do you expect when you are dealing with water?

Our family has gone through several humidifiers over the years and this is by far our favorite. We purchased one for our son's nursery and liked it so much we got one more for our own bedroom. First and foremost, it's extremely effective but absolutely quiet. There is a nice dial adjustment so you can select the perfect amount of moisture, without being confined to a limited number of settings. There is also an adjustable nozzle so you can 'aim' the mist in whatever direction you would like. It's extremely easy to use and clean, and the best part is you don't have to constantly replace filters.

Our son's room gets cold but I was afraid to turn the heat too high and dry him out. This humidifier is simple and works great. A little tricky to refill but easy once you get the hang of it.

It is on! It also worked wonders for my son right after we put it on. Good size , not complicated or clunky

Lime deposits may develop in the nebulizer of Crane's Raindrop Cool Mist Humidifier due to hard water deposits. To overcome this problem, follow these easy steps to "de-scale" your humidifier:1. Dampen a wet cloth with a few drops of white vinegar, and gently wipe the nebulizer until the deposits begin to disappear.
2. Rub down gently with a dry cloth to remove the remains of any humidity.
3. Be careful not to scratch the nebulizer.
4. Use care to not clean the nebulizer with any chemical solutions.
