I was so expecting to love this toy set and that my son would as well. While the ball and different animal pins have gotten much play and my son does love them, I'm disappointed that they can't be used as they were supposed to be - to play bowling. Reason being because none of us have been able to get the pins to stand up for more than a few seconds. The bottoms feel like they have bendable cardboard inside and therefore, they don't remain flat so that the pins can stand up. I would say they would definitely be worth the price if they could stand up and you could actually bowl with it!

this is a fun and versatile set. it can be used for its purpose of bowling, or the pieces could be played with independently. really soft material and great colors.
