Rated 5 out of 5 by ewells Perfect for warm nights We love using this sleep sack when it's just cool enough that the baby could use an extra layer but warm enough that we don't want the baby to overheat in a thicker sleep sack. June 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 Not Practical I know these sleep bags are reccommended, but I found it horrible to use. If my child tried to roll over in the middle of the night, the sleep bag got al twisted and didn't allow her to move freely. I tried using this when my daughter was about 11 months old. Bad idea for an older infant. Even as a newer baby, she would scoot herself down and the neck opening would cover her mouth and nose. Not a geat idea for a new baby either. Long sleeve onseys or once piece jumpsuits work much better. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by CoolMom Perfect for after the swaddle This is the perfect answer to after-the-swaddle. My baby slept is the sleepsack every night. We alternated between the Aden & Anais and the giggle organic basics sack. The sleep sacks are perfect before your baby can stand in the crib. These are lightweight, so dress baby warmly underneath if it's a cold night. I had no problem with washing them -- and I washed them often, as I only had 2 sleepsacks. March 29, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Maman1013 bummer... i adored the aden & anais swaddle blankets so when baby started to suck his thumb i purchased this sleep sack. after one washing i noticed that there was a huge hole where the material met the binding. i also found that the material is super thin. i returned the sleep sack and won't be purchasing another. Rated 2 out of 5 by Leeaann Great quality but huge. I love this brand of swaddle blankets, but the sleep sacks are simply too big for my babies. I have a 12 lb 4 month old and even the smallest size is way too big. By the time she's able to wear them, they won't be practical any more - she'll be tossing and turning. For bigger babies only! Rated 4 out of 5 by wickerparkmom perfect for spring! love this as a transition sleep sack from winter to summer. but the fabric snags easily and it doesn't look like it will last long. March 18, 2012

I am trying to decide between this sleeping bag (in size small) versus the "giggle Better Basics HALO SleepSack Swaddle" (in the newborn size). Could you please tell me about any significant differences/pros/cons of each? My baby will be a summer baby, due in July, if that makes a difference.
Thank you very much.
A:SleepSacks are bedding essentials during baby’s 1st year in the crib – you’ll want a few on hand for easy wash-and-wear, climate/temperature changes and some larger sizes, too, so you’re not caught short when baby has an overnight growth spurt! Additional considerations include whether you intend to dress baby only in organic fabrics vs. conventional cotton vs. a combination of the two; and how warm or cool you keep your home during the summer.
Here are some additional details to help you make a choice that works best for you and your lifestyle:
Choose giggle’s Better Basics Halo SleepSack Swaddle for an organic cotton option with a built-in, removable swaddle. Made from 100% certified organic cotton, this SleepSack earns our “Healthy” criteria; and the Velcro swaddle hugs your baby to prevent the startle reflex, allowing baby to sleep more soundly, and takes the guesswork out of middle-of-the-night swaddling.
Choose 100% conventional cotton muslin Aden + Anais’ Sleeping Bags for a lightest weight option. These sleeping bags are perfect for keeping baby at the right temperature, as muslin's light, open weave allows a baby's body temperature to regulate itself naturally helping to reduce the risk of overheating.
Both SleepSacks are part of giggle’s best-of, edited assortment, and we’re available to help you choose which one is perfect for you and your lifestyle!
Q:I have read some iffy reviews about the zipper on these bags... I only have one, and it is the double thick "warmer weight" and the zipper lasted a good long while, then split- any thoughts?
A:Aiden + Anais' Muslin Sleeping Bag is here just in-time for the warm weather, and everyone at giggle is thrilled with the quality and workmanship of this vendor's products. We have only had positive feedback so far with the Sleeping Bag's zipper, but understand that every now and then a customer may experience an issue that is unique to their particular product, which is why giggle stands behind everything we sell.
