Rated 4 out of 5 by lukasmom must have! This is perfect for taking along on trips or going for dinner at a friend's house. My son feels so comfortable and relaxed when he needs to go outside of his own bathroom. I recommend this to all, its a must have! October 9, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Bmom Great for on the go My daughter started going on the potty at about 1 1/2, and this seat has been invaluable: while she has always been on the big side, she's only in the last few months (3 yrs) been big enough to really sit on an adult potty without me holding her. This not only eliminated her fear of falling in (& who wants an extra anxiety when potty training) but it also made it easier to use toilets which otherwise would have made me hesitate. The fold is also good: because of the way it hinges, all the parts that touch the toilet fold into themselves and leave out the parts that touch your child, so it's easier to stomach the "potty traveling in my bag" phenomenon. Rated 2 out of 5 by shamika Never ended up using it I bought this for my son because I didn't like the idea of him sitting on public restroom toilet seats. When we tried it a few times at home his bottom ended up sticking to the seat so it was hard for him to get off. The center hole is not very big which makes it hard for little boys to go. In the end I wouldn't recommend this for boys. It might be better for little girls. It does fold up nicely to fit in a diaper bag. March 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by kimmala the best on the market! Light weight and compact! I can easily put this in my purse and forget about it. I place the seat in a water proof bag to separate it from the rest of my belongings- then I can use the bag in case of an accident as well. I really appreciate the fact that when it folds up, the parts that touch the public potty touch each other and not the part your child sits on - this is a plus if you have an aversion to germs. Love the to handles in front - perfect for little hands searching for the right spot to hang on - vs. the potty! Very easy to clean and also great for trips to grandma's house! A must have for toddlers! March 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by azmom Great for on the go! We love that this potty can get very small and is useful on nearly every potty...makes potty training on the go much easier. March 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by lovingmamaof4 must have for potty training parents! Excellent if you are on the go person with your child! Easy to fold out and place on top of a big potty seat so your little one feels secure! This also excellent when using a public restroom so you don't have to worry about your little ones bum touching the regular seat! This gave our children confidence to use a potty away from their home! This is a must have for potty training parents! March 14, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by worldmama Great tool for potty training This seat is perfect for the dreaded "potty stop" in public bathrooms. We started training our daughter and she was doing great at home, but then we got to the restaurant, or the museum, or the park, and she would say "potty!" and we would say "um...." because there was no potty (and I'm just not willing to carry a pot and make her go in the back of the car). Then we got this seat, and voila! the perfect answer! Love it. March 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by DaddyO Great seat This seat is perfect for on the go potty training! It folds up into a very compact profile and is sturdy. It also seems to be easily cleanable, which is an absolute must when dealing with restrooms in all different places. We carry little alcohol wipes to sanitize and it works like a charm. Q:is there a picture available of what it looks like folded up ... ? thanks!
Q:Does it fit on elongated toliets? Has it pinched or fallen off the toliet seat?
A:The Folding Potty Seat With Handles is the ideal solution to two problems:
1. It reduces the toilet opening size
2. Ensures perfect hygiene at the same time.
Your child holds the folding potty seat handles instead of holding onto a dirty toilet bowl for stability, security, and added hygiene . Neither the mother's or the child's hands need to ever touch the toilet bowl, guaranteeing safety and hygiene.
The Folding Potty Seat With Handles is strong enough to support a child up to 40 pounds on a round or elongated toilet. The Travel Folding Potty Seat With Handles has 4 large non-skid pads and large front overhangs to help prevent the potty seat from sliding.
Q:Does the seat come with a carrying case? The description says that it does- but two of the reviewers say that they wish that it came with a carrying case. Thanks.
A:The Travel Potty Seat does come with a sealing storage bag to use as a hygienic carrying case, but it's more like a zip lock bag than a case. In fact, many of our customers find a zip lock works best. While we have encouraged the manufacturer to consider adding a case as an option, many prefer it in a bag so that it stays small and fits nicely within a diaper (or other) bag.
