Rated 5 out of 5 by caroldoyun great first bath toy so colorful, it caught my eye in the store. i used it with my baby as a newborn. it was safe and she was intrigued with them--she'd try to chew on them and look at them, etc. and there's enough pieces to 'rotate' them, so she doesn't get bored of the same creatures every time. and she loves it when i squirt water on her, as well. it's a great first bath toy! Rated 5 out of 5 Fun Have them and have given them as a fun little gift a few times in visiting friends. Everyone loves them and the kids always seem to have a favorite. They do fill with water and can be used to squirt at each other too! December 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fiona The best bath toys These are wonderful bath toys. My son finds endless ways to play with them in and out of the bath. We've had the sea creatures, the airplanes, the boats, and even a Christmas set. They are small enough to tuck a couple into a diaper bag to play with on a plane or at a restaurant. And they are non-toxic, so I have always felt perfectly safe if my son chewed on them. A great buy! March 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by tsuni Safe Bath Toys! These are darling and it is so nice to know when my baby is chomping on them during his baths, that they are totally safe for him without all the toxic materials used in other ones. I purchased both sets. March 10, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by crose Cute Toys but hardly non-toxic I love the look of these toys and they have been a favorite of my son's since he was just a few months old. We have three different sets, but no matter how hard we try to squeeze out all the water inside them, it is impossible to get it all out and after a couple months of use, these toys are full of mold inside. Pretty gross for a baby toy - especially one your child plays with while you are trying to get them clean. My son, and the children of several other parents I have spoken to, enjoys chewing and sucking on these things, which is actually pretty dangerous considering what's growing on the inside. I'm really not the kind of person that takes the time to write bad reviews about anything, and for the most part I love everything this site has to offer, but I am upset that these toys are marketed as "non-toxic" since there is literally no way to keep them that way. Parents should know what they are getting. February 9, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by AZ Squirters are high maintenance As far as squirters go - - these get my vote, but squirter bath toys like this are more work than I realized. After every bath, I empty the water out of the squirters [when she was younger, she'd try to suck the old water out]. Even with doing that, they build up mold. Sometimes the water squirts out a little bit of black. It's actually not as bad as the toys that have larger openings. I've also tried to clean them as I read about online. I love that by comparison, the creatures are cute and they're all water creatures unlike many I've seen. I do often reach for the toys that are closed off and don't fill up. Just easier. if you are looking for a squirter though - do buy these. She does love them. October 20, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by JG Too cute to pass up These little bath toys are just as sweet as pictured. They're the perfect size for little hands. A great toy for imaginary play either in or out of the tub! October 9, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by tbs1 Great Toys My daughter loves these bath toys! The only thing is, like most bath toys, they tend to get moldy after a period of time. We are on our second set and she still loves them! October 9, 2009

We purchased these, but I am still concerned about the safety of the plastic. What number and kind of plastic are they? Is there any vinyl? Heightening this concern is that they come in a vinyl bag, which is PVC, and are used in warm water.
A:Elegant Baby's responsible commitment to children’s safety means that their Sea Creatures Bath Squirters meet and/or exceed several safety regulations, including the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA); the Federal Hazardous Substance Act; the American Standards for Testing and Materials (ASTM-F963), testing for toxic elements; and the European Standard EN- 71 that specifies safety requirements for all toys sold in European nations. In addition, these extensive third party acts test for hazards such as lead, phthalates, and toxins, as well as potential choking hazards.
The Bath Squirters are made of non-toxic, BPA-free, and phthalate-free PVC. They contain no VOC's, and are safe enough for a little bather to put in their mouth.
Parents can be confident that giggle’s commitment to children’s health and safety includes eliminating exposures to any potentially harmful chemicals and substances contained in our product assortment so we can help build healthier environments for children.
Q:Are these bath toys BPA free? They only say phalate free and nontoxic, but what does nontoxic mean exactly? My baby is wanting to put them in her mouth.
A:They sure are BPA free! Nontoxic means that there are no harmful chemicals whatsoever, and they’re 100% safe. You have nothing to worry about if your little one wants to gnaw on them. In fact, these are one of our most popular bath toy items!
