What's the latest way to bathe your baby? In a bucket! It's a new concept in the US, but Europeans have totally embraced this innovative bathing option. Shaped more vertically than horizontally, it safely holds your baby upright in the proper bathing position. Two more great pluses? Its small "footprint" means it takes up a lot less precious bathroom real estate, and it also uses a lot less water, making it environmentally friendly, as well. Recommended by physicians worldwide for babies up to six months old -- and by us!See Full Details

Rated 5 out of 5 by mommamelanie80 Lovin' The Wash Pod I bought the Wash Pod after finding out about a similar product, but the other product was ridiculously expensive and I really didn't like the look of it. So, enter the Wash Pod. I am SO THANKFUL for this device. I was apprehensive at first look, but as soon as I placed my daughter in it, I was immediately hooked. She LOVES it so much that bathing has become such a great experience. Bathing isn't hard, just needed some getting used to. Now I'm getting nervous because I can see her growing too big for it soon. Overall, I am very happy with this and recommend it to parents! September 28, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by emma2011 Hated it I was very disappointed in this product. This is a safety hazard for a newborn and too small for a larger baby. The newborn head control flops forward if you try to wash them in this tub, because it is upright. It requires two hands to hold the baby to prevent it from swallowing water, leaving you no free hand to actually wash the baby with. For bigger babies, Unless you are tiny, both the baby and your forearm will not fit at the same time. September 10, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by parent scared me to death! It was very difficult to wash my child in this wash basin. It's so deep that it's hard to get your hands down into it and wash the baby. I just could not feel like I could keep my baby from falling over into the water. I was nervous the entire time about her slipping through my fingers. We decided to go with the more traditional type of tub (the one with the hammock in it for newborns and then the reclined seat for older baby). March 21, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stephawalker Makes bath time a joy Our baby hated bath time until we started using the WashPOD. We waited until he was about 7 weeks old to use it (before then he was too little) and he immediately took to it. I agree with the other reviewer- sit on the floor with the WashPOD to make it easier. It's nice that it barely uses any water. Plus, babies look so cute in the little buckets. March 20, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by RoryR Love it! Grandma picked one of these up for us to use at her house and I quickly became jealous that we didn't have one at home! Babies will outgrow it (mine fit well past 6 months, but she's a peanut), but they will LOVE it while it lasts. March 10, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by momofMAL It's all in how you use it... I loved the concept of this tub, and couldn't wait to try it out on #3. My husband refused to let me use it until she was 6wks, and he was right. It was complicated before then. (Because I tried once!) AFTER 6wks, it was a dream. The tub is her JOY -- it's clear it's her favorite time of the day. (4mos) We have tried other tubs while travelling and always miss our 'baby bucket!' Sit on the floor to use it -- you have more control over your arms/hands that way. One hand holds baby's back/chest, the other hand has the washcloth. An extra cup of water to rinse is essential. The tub has saved my back and has made the experience more enjoyable for baby & me. This is one of 3 "new" baby items that's worth the hype in the last 10yrs. August 24, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by emily great for a short minute scary when he was first born then perfect once his neck was stron and now almost too big and only 2 1/2 months old! January 9, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by lwagnero meh ok, so this thing is kind of good if you are limited on space, which I am. But other than that I don't know. I feel like I could have gone to the container store and just bought a bucket. My baby is 4 months old now, and I can just barely use it. Before now he would slouch over and I felt like I was going to drown him every time I tried to use it. I think I liked the concept of this more than anything. I feel like I could have gone without this item. October 5, 2009

Q:My daughter is enormous--- way off the height and weight chart at four months old. We are so hooked on this bathtub but too big for it now. She just now is sitting up--- if you can call it that. Do you have any suggestions for tubs in this awkward 4 month stage for big as life babies?
A:Different ages-and-stages all need different stuff, and bathtubs are no exception! As your baby grows, she'll need to transition to a larger tub. Here are a couple of giggle picks:
--Boon Naked Bath Tub: A contemporary, fun design that has two variable positions for a growing baby -- recline it for 0 to 6 months old and sit-it-up to support your 6 to 18 month. The best part? For the space-constrained it's uniquely collapsible when not in-use.
--Primo Euro Bath: It's giggle's “better basic” infant-to-toddler tub and an overall best value. The tub has two fixed positions (recline for 0 to 6 months and sitting for 6-24 months) and the best longevity, but, with its larger footprint, it's not ideal for space-constrained families.
Q:Everything I have seen about this product is the infant can go from womb to WashPOD. However, every other baby guide says not to submerge a baby until the cord falls off. Is it really safe to use that soon, or better to wait until baby is a few weeks old?
A:Prince Lionheart's WashPOD is rated for use from newborn to 6 months, and is intended to safely hold a baby upright in the proper bathing position making bathtime more safe, and secure, for new parents and their babies.
While this innovative product is recommended by physicians worldwide, giggle understands that every parent will differ in their bathtime philosophy, which is why we absolutely recommend consulting your child's pediatrician for the most effective products for your child's specific needs.
Q:Can you take a bath with your baby with this? Can you fill the regular tub and the pod and both take a bath?
Q:Do you know if the plastic used in this product is PVC free and BPA free? Thanks so much!
