Meets the following giggle Criteria:
MULTI-USE: Everyone wants to get the most for their money, but that doesn't always translate to the lowest price. Sometimes it means choosing one great product instead of buying multiple products over time. These products last longer and do more - whether they grow with your baby, live on beyond the baby years, or can be used for more than one purpose - so that you can always feel confident that you made a great investment.MULTI-USE: versatile & long-lasting
HEALTHY: Every parent's number-one goal is a healthy baby, and babies' developing systems are a lot more sensitive than adults. That's why we work hard to find products that won't introduce any more toxins than necessary into your home. Sometimes that means organic products that avoid pesticides and chemicals, but it also includes things like nontoxic cleaning products made from plant-based ingredients, or plastics without toxins likes BPA or phthalates.HEALTHY: made with safe or organic materials
INNOVATIVE: These products are just plain smart, whether it's a new twist on an old product, a smart, modern design, or a fresh idea that's altogether new. We're always on the hunt for the latest innovations in parenting — and that includes cool, new products that adapt the latest in technology to help the newest entrants in the world of parenting.INNOVATIVE: smart products that do more
SPACE-SAVING: Let's face it: Babies take up a lot of room. These space-saving essentials help make sure there's still enough room for everyone after the baby comes. Maybe they have a smaller footprint, or maybe they're easy to put away when you're not using them, but either way they're a whole lot easier than finding a bigger house!SPACE-SAVING: compact & easy to store

Rated 5 out of 5 by A registry must - The perfect travel bed & playpen If you're looking for a great travel bed or easy to collapse apartment playpen for your sitting up, but still tips over baby, this is for you. I originally bought the regular Nuna (not the mini size) because of its easy one-step set up and it's style. We tried a friend's pack and play and it was a pain to set up and tear down, and the Room2 was just too big for a normal size living room. Had I known about the bassinet option, I would have bought this earlier and used this when my girl was a newborn. The style and modern colors are an added bonus. Just make sure to buy the mattress sheet, as it doesn't come with one - I got two and they came in handy on a 5-day trip :) July 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect for Home or Travel! I love the sleek black/silver design of the Nuna Sena! We have it set-up in the master bedroom, and it coordinates with the existing decor perfectly. Plus, it folds quickly and easily for travel. My only complaint is the price of the Nuna fitted sheets. We use an organic mattress pad and sheet from another company instead. This works fine, but since they were designed for another size playard, sheet clips are needed to keep the sheet tight and wrinkle free. Overall, I would highly recommend this product! May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Travel Crib! When looking for a travel crib, we wanted a lightweight, easy to fold crib that adjusts with a growing child. We soon realized that a lot of the travel cribs aren’t supposed to be used after the baby can sit up. This realization and the fact that the company uses Oeko-Tex fabric led us to the Sena. It is easy and quick to transport between upstairs and downstairs, if we want naptime to be in either location and it doesn’t take up a ton of space. We love how easy it is to pack up for travel in either the car or plane and place in its carry bag. April 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best travel bed!!! We love this! We had the mini size and didn't hesitate to get the bigger one once our son great out of the little one. It opens and closes effortlessly and the carry-bag leaves room for a couple of sheets so you can keep everything together...a must when traveling. Our son slept in this exclusively for a 3-week period over the holidays and we couldn't be happier! April 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by We love it!! Our daughter enjoys her time in the NUNA Sena play yard! Now she can stand with support so she has started smiling at us and checking things in the room while putting her face out from the frame. It's very safe for her head or face when she trips over as the mattress is soft enough and the frames are padded well. We took it when we need baby-sitting at our relatives' and it was very convenient! April 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by We Love Our Nuna, Just A Few Suggestions All in all, we love the Nuna (we call it the 'Nuna' by the way). Our daughter sleeps like a baby in it (no pun intended). She's four months now and prefers to sleep in the Nuna. *Our Nuna was not labeled 'travel' or 'mini travel', it was just called the Sena, so I'm not sure about the size differences now with the newer models Pros: -Very sturdy & well built (you get what you pay for) -Light and easy to operate -Nice sized footprint Cons (minor): -Sometimes the mattress can be slightly off balance if not inserted correctly -I don't like that the poles jingle around when everything is placed in the carrying case Suggestions: - Perhaps make a cool looking attachment/mobile that can affix to the Nuna similar to our playpens. Rated 5 out of 5 by best bed for grandma's i bought this for my grandson and absolutely love it! its easy to set up, doesnt take up too much space, he sleeps in it like a champ and even has lots of space to play in when he is awake! March 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Choice After a lot of research on travel cribs & playards, I chose the Nuna Sena and I'm glad I did. Pros: otek-certified, easy-to-fold, sturdy, clean and modern look, mat does not touch the floor, very easy to set-up, rubber feet does not scratch floors Cons: the mattress-filling is not otek-certified (although I couldn't find any other travel cribs that had this), it's hard to find a waterproof pad that fits the mattress exactly Overall, I'm really pleased with the Nuna Sena. It's the best choice out there. March 3, 2014

Nuna's Sena is not only comfortable to sleep in overnight, it's also safe to sleep in overnight. Here's some information from our partners at Nuna:

• From an intended use perspective Nuna tests and certifies the Sena to the play yard standard ASTM 406
• For the anticipated Nuna ALSO tests and certifies the Sena to the Bassinets and Cradles standard ASTM 2194.

While play yards in general are not designed to be overnight sleeping products, Nuna's tested the Sena to meet the standards for safe overnight sleeping products.

Q:
Thank you for working with Nuna to have flame retardants removed from their products. I am deciding between this bassinet and the babyhome dream which has a coir mattress option. The Nuna is much more flexible, less expensive, and will serve us longer. However, can you please confirm that if we purchase the Nuna now we'll be receiving one of the new mattresses? Or, how can we tell if we're going to a brick and mortar store that we are buying new stock? This is a major factor in deciding between the two for me and, by the looks of the other questions, many others, too.

We've partnered to Nuna to get our customers some additional information about their products. Nuna's gone through all of the chemical lists with their engineers and checked every individual order that's ever shipped to giggle from Nuna, and, in partnership with Nuna, we confidently confirm the following:

1. The fire retardant standard in the US is changing. Nuna started removing the fire retardant chemicals from their products as soon as the law allowed.
***We can confirm that none of the Leaf, Sena or Pepp products shipped to giggle include any fire retardant chemicals.***
2. While giggle's Nuna products listed above are FR-free, Nuna products sold at giggle still have the California FR tag attached.
***Nuna will be removing the California FR tag from their products in the future.***
3. Nuna will continue to push for the removal of fire retardant chemicals from all products as they believe that this is best for babies.
4. All Nuna fabrics and fiber-fill are Oeko-tex certified, even if they are required by law to include fire retardants.

A:
Nuna's Sena Travel Cot Mattress is removable. However, as with all play yard/travel cot mattresses (including Sena), the mattress is designed expressly for use in that product, and all manufacturers will caution parents to use ONLY the mattress/pad provided by the manufacturer.

The mattress is a big overall contributor to the product's safety testing and certification -- these sturdy mattresses work in concert with the play yard/travel cot to add stability and ensure that there are no potential entrapment gaps, ensuring that your baby's play/sleep environment is as safe as possible.

When used with all of the Nuna-included components (including the mattress) Nuna's Sena Travel Cot meets and/or exceeds the mandatory Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations for play yards/travel cribs, and has been certified to the voluntary American Standards for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards.

A:
As of February 23, 2013, all play yards are required to meet the new CPSC ASTM 406-12a, which means that all play yards sold by giggle have passed this new regulation, including Nuna's Sena.

And, parents can use Nuna's Sena Travel Cot from birth to age 3:

--Bassinet Mode: Elevate the mattress for a newborn up to 15lbs to easily access the baby
--Play Yard Mode: Lower the mattress to Sena’s “floor” for play and sleep
