While Boon's Fresh doesn't include a safety strap, it meets all U.S. safety standards, which don't require a safety strap for changing stations (ASTM F2388 Baby Changing Tables), except to secure the changing station to the changing surface, which Fresh does have.Without a strap parents and caregivers are more inclined to keep the child within arm’s reach at all times-preventing any issue of them falling out off of the changing station. Fresh includes warnings to help understand proper use of the product.
